A path less travelled

Love the rustic roundness.

I dropped my mobile, this one actually, into the ocean today. Water and sand entered. The case it was in helped. Took it out of case, dried it as best I could with shirt I was wearing.

Screen Message said "no Sim card, emergency calls only"

At home dried it more thoroughly, removed Sim and drawer, more drying. Immersed in raw rice.

So it's working for now. I suspect it won't be by morning. Even if it survived the night I imagine salt water will corrode parts.

I guess time for replacement.
