Simply Autumn….

These delicately coloured leaves are part of a Virginia Creeper. It is draping over and hanging down from a very tall manuka tree in the western side of my garden. The creeper is in the shade which explains the pastel tones of the leaves. Whereas the Virginia Creeper on a fence on the eastern boundary is in the sun and the leaves have turned into vivid autumnal colours.,.
Margaret and Steve arrived from Wellington this afternoon. They are here for the weekend and Steve is going to go to the air show at Omaka airport on Saturday.
