The Edge Effect

My Trees! For my dissertation last year I studied how a tree-line in front of a row of houses can reduce vehicle pollution from entering the houses. This is called the 'edge effect'. As a result of my findings the BBC got involved and replicated the study filming it for a TV programme called 'Trust me I'm a doctor' due to air sometime in September. They shipped in 30 Silver Birch trees from Holland and here they are! Busy reducing the amount of vehicle pollution entering the houses.
