At the Wallace Collection

On impulse D and I took the bus to Oxford Street and walked to the Wallace Collection. It’s full of beautiful things made for the very rich. The extra shows Madame de Pompadour by Boucher. The museum was unusually busy, probably because there is a special show of paintings of dogs. 
I had a long zoom chat with my sister in Virginia. 
D and I discussed the news and it didn’t make us feel better.
