Lambfest

Being Good Friday and a notable Flum Blipday we took a drive out to see lambs. And there were lots, although most were too far away for photographs, so we resorted to stopping near those closest to the road. All I had to do was lean out of the window and avoid photographing too much fence.

Main photo is one contented Mum, Extra 1 of the lighter (thumbnail) lamb giving Mum a nuzzle - I swear she is smiling.

Extra 2 in a different field, gazing at the Tweed valley from the Dreva road, and a companion in the flock, because I admired the way the Mums gently moved their precious lambs away from the big, noisy  metal thing with a red dot pointing at them that was stopped by their fence - good mothering!
