Tempest x two

Today has seen the culmination of this term's work with both Y8 groups performing their versions of The Tempest. Ironically, what were supposed to be outdoor performances were changed to indoor ones because of torrential rain! They did really well, telling the whole story where some groups only did single scenes and learning great chunks of Shakespearean speeches which they didn't think they'd be able to do. I'm glad to have got them out of the way now - a much more straightforward unit is planned for next term. And only one more day to go ...
