The Grey Corries

Went down to the the Grey Corries to meet with  S+R on a beautiful blue, but cool, day. Did Stob Coirie Claurigh and Stob Coire and Laoigh from Killiechonate, near Spean Bridge, passing the Wee Minister on the way (see entry for 16th July last year).  It was hot and sunny on the lower slopes, like  a summer's day, but a cool wind on the ridge reminded us it is still April. I think this is the fourth or fifth time up this hill,  but I've never done it by the north ridge before, and it's a fine ascent with spectacular views of Ben Nevis to the west.  An extra is included, with two small figures half way down Stob Coire Cath na Sine,  which I think demonstrates nicely why these hills are known as "The Grey Corries".
