Around Arthur's Seat

A very lovely sunny day, perfect for walking.
The walking group set off for a gentle stroll starting at Waverley Station, along to Holyrood Park, across the side of Arthur's Seat, through woodland and on to the community orchard hillside at Duddingston. This was the place chosen for decorating and rolling eggs, it was good fun. We then walked back along to Pollock Halls before catching buses or walking back home.
Other stops today were Redhall Gardens and Redhall allotments. S and I also had a very good otter experience on the canal. I can now say I saw an otter at the end of my street. The otter fished happily for 20 minutes, creating strings of bubbles so we could locate it, and surfacing to eat its catch.
