Many years ago Alf used to get up at school and play guitar . A lot of other people then started playing guitar. Not sure what happened to most of them but Tom kept at it and is now in an excellent band. 29thfunktion.

They were in the final of the under 18s bit of the Cambridge Rock Competition along with Isla. We went along to support them both and they were both excellent.

Tom’s band won but it was very, very close.
