WADDLE LIKE AN EGYPTIAN

After a pleasant but not very birdy walk at RSPB Saltholme I was excited to spot this pair of Egyptian geese (Alopochen aegyptiaca) in a field on the way home, and then a little further on decided to take a quick diversion down Smelly Factory Lane to see what was about and saw a pair of stonechats and a female wheatear in the distance (extras). It made up for the almost inedibility of the Easter treat I'd bought myself at the Farmers' Market yesterday in lieu of anything chocolate. I shan't do that again.
