Cloudy

Got a bit of sun in the afternoon, but it was dry until around five, and nice temperature for a walk. We walked from site to the start of the Caledonian Canal and Neptune’s Staircase locks, sandwich and coffee and back to site. Around eleven miles, but very easy going. Passed a couple of wrecks on the loch side and thought one was perfect for derelict Sunday. A few people around it when we arrived and one child called out to her dad how do we get up to the top, he said not possible and her response was the man did. Just as she said it two people appeared on top of the boat, how they got up there I have no idea.
Hetty got attacked by a terrier on our way back. Two large dogs very playfully ran towards her and a smaller one came running at her and grabbed her back, she yelped and I managed to get hold of her and hubby and it’s owner shouted at it. The owner was quite shaken, as was I, she was very apologetic and I was very firm and told her that her dog should have been on a lead if she can’t control it verbally. Hetty fine, just a bit shocked.
Rain since five and quite heavy now.
