Big Pink

When I last had a lady friend, I told her that this block of flats was called Big Pink after the album: Music From Big Pink by the Band. So when she sent me a wee card or something, she put ‘Big Pink ‘ in the address. Not everyone around here likes the colour. Our local Big Issue seller calls us the ‘Spam Flats.’ But if I’d had a choice of exterior colour I would have gone for the pink. The picture is really of the back of the building as to me it faces the other way, and I’m glad it does.
