Tickety-Boo

Harris had his annual check-up today, and contrary to what we thought about him not eating as much... He's put on a kilo in the last year. Which is ridiculous; He's not a chunk, but it wouldn't hurt if he at a bit less. It's possibly because he seems to prefer the leftovers from the kitten food, which has a higher calorific content than his own food...

Anyway, as if to prove the point, when we told the vet he was picking up a lot of ticks, so getting the best flea and so on treatment that was good for ticks... Within 15 minutes or so of getting him home (yowling all the way in the car) a tick had appeared on his head.
