A Great Welcome Home

My Siberian Scilla never disappoints me.  Always the first to bloom, they were waiting for me when I got home.  On the south side of a stone edge planting area, the stones create a microclimate that hastens the bloom.  John will be here this morning to continue the yard clean-up.  So many branches!  They say we have a heightened fire risk because of the dry conditions, warm temperatures and rising winds. He'll also put my rocker back on the Farmer's Porch so I can do some "sun beaming" later today.  Time to put the snow shovels away!

Gift#101: the first flower.
