Azalea season

Today we popped round to our local bakery/cafe/ bookshop for breakfast and then went to Rikugien Gardens for the morning. The azalea are just opening, now that the cherry blossom is over for the most part here.

Then we met my brother, had a look at the nearby fabric area, ate lunch at the same place as breakfast (too delicious), and then headed off to visit Nezu Shrine's spectacular Azalea Festival (click on extra to see the full effect). A walk back through Ueno Park was then followed by a takeaway dinner from a supermarket.

Again more than 18k footsteps! And collapse!
