Lesser Black-backed Gull

A cut above the squawking and bullying Herring or Great Black-backed Gull, these birds tend to go south for their winter holidays and this is my first bird of the species this year.
Calmac seem to have rather stuffed us with a breakdown on our ferry - as they did a friend who was due to come over on Monday for the day. The alternative route is currently fully booked so decisions have to be made......
