Heathy

Today I returned to the Lake Ainsworth heathland, expecting that the Wallum Banksias (B. aemula) would be flowering nicely - it is said to be a 'showy autumn flowering shrub'. I suspect that, in this sub-tropical climate, they flower throughout the year, though autumn may be the peak. In the past I have blipped them many times, in different seasons.
