'Station Pier at Dusk'

WOW, what a fantastic response to yesterdays foggy waves. A huge thank you to everyone for putting it into the spotlight and giving it so many hearts and stars. I feel truly humbled. Who would have guessed it?

Another sensational Autumn day again today. I picked up a work colleague and we headed out to the country about an hour and a half drive west of Melbourne to measure up 2 projects and have a look at a 50 acre block of land for a potential new client. It was a sunny cloudless day for the most part and so nice to be out of the office getting some fresh air for a change.

While we were visiting the 50 acre block, we met sheep farmer Glen Ford who rode up to us on his quad bike to check out what we were up to. What a great bloke, and I also took a couple of shots of him which I almost blipped tonight.

Mrs RW is out with both of the kids tonight at a friends birthday party so I took a diversion after dropping of my work colleague and headed down to the docks for a few dusk shots. There were also 5 or 6 other photographers down there and a couple of fishermen.

This shot was taken from Princes pier looking over towards Station Pier. The ship you can see is the Spirit of Tasmania which was about to make it's overnight journey down to the Apple Isle.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.
