The Steppe country

Well I think that's what it's called. This is the Nature reserve behind the villa where we walked this morning. There were birds but they were hard to spot. A southern shrike, a rose coloured finch with a fat beak and a striking looking pipit were to be seen, no bustards but they are there. 
It was cloudy in the morning and sunny in the afternoon,  the wind never stops.
