1,000 days: a critical window

The first 1,000 days of life - from conception to a child's second birthday - are a critical time in a child's development. IMPACT Cambodia works in poor areas to improve the diets of pregnant women, provide antenatal care and health support for infants.

The photo shows Dr Sela and Seng Huot (the 1000 Day Coordinator) visited the family of this newborn to conduct health checks on both mum and baby. They also delivered 15Kg of rice, 2 L of cooking oil and soap.
