Friday...

A lovely day meeting up with a birdy friend for a very belated birthday lunch. A walk around the res gave great views of lots of swallows & house martins + the grebes doing the weed dance yet again. Lunch was a picnic bought from a good butchers shop that has a deli counter & a good natter was had!

My blip is of a stunning male wheatear & then the extra is a little common sandpiper on a re near home. It was enjoying the worms! Video here...
