Experimentation

This is all very rough and ready, re-using two wooden cages which were elsewhere in the old barn, to make a large fruit cage. This big open stable, with a roof that must have collapsed 10-15 years ago, is being tested as a sort-of walled garden. Sheltered from the prevailing wind, getting sun most of the day... If it works, then this area will get cleaned up next year, and the cage extended into an L-shape that will roughly double its size.
