I noticed this opening bud when we walked by the river this morning, but I haven't a clue which tree it's from, hoping someone can enlighten me.   I was drawn to the gorgeous bright colour and all those tiny flower heads.   Another in extras.
An afternoon in the garden trying to clear a border of weeds and dead plants thst I've lost over winter.  The garden waste bin was only emptied this morning and it's already half full again.
