Home!

And we’re home, deep breath.
Not the driest holiday
but lovely big skies.

4am wake up for Ben today, so that was a bit of an abrupt start to the day.  Then there was all the packing up and getting all our stuff shoehorned into the car again.  Mr KCNQ2Haiku took Ben and Leo for a walk whilst I finished it all off, then we were away.  It started raining as we set off and it was a grotty journey from a weather perspective.  Leo had a kip and then sat up, leant out of his car box thing and was quite decisively sick on older teen’s fan.  Oops.  I think he may have ingested some farm detritus whilst we were packing up the car.  Lovely.  He seemed fine afterwards and since we’ve been home.  Arrived back, sorted stuff out, dealt with the shopping delivery and that’s about it.  Went to the pharmacy.  I had to reply to an email from the social worker, wanting more info on Ben’s independence skills, so that’s still ticking along.  Leo seems pleased to be back, he definitely seemed to know he was home.  Ben has been pretty good although it’s been raining so it’s frustrating he hasn’t been able to use the trampoline on his first day back.  Hopefully drier tomorrow.
Photo was Leo in the holiday cottage garden first thing this morning, the light was gorgeous, it was sunny and rainy, even with a rainbow.  But most excitingly, as I opened the door, there were rabbits all over the grass.  They scarpered, obviously, as Leo chased them off but one went through this fence and Leo just stared longingly after it.  I was fairly sure he could have ducked underneath if it had occurred to him but I think he knew he was outrun!
