Buds

This is a local tree I pass going to the shops. Not sure what it is. 3-4m tall, branches overhang creating a nice sphere shape. The leaves are narrow silvery-green. The blossom buds are red & flowers open white.

Shopping & was going to go out to the garden after but rain showery day.

MT phoned to say she is now a great great Auntie (think that's right?) Great great niece & mum are both well. Welcome to the world Isabella.

Knitting needles out & searching through wool bags for some wool for baby things. I look at the patterns but always end up at the same one for a set. I'll be making over the next few days mittens, bootees & a bonnet.
