Charging straight for him then with a leap landing bang on top effectively flattening his opponent my hare was feisty! Not for the fainthearted the battle raged with them chasing, kicking and head butting till one bounded off with chunks of hair missing from his coat.

I wasn't in prime position for these encounters but it was amazing to watch from the car in the rain even from a distance over the top of a dry stone wall.
