A Meandering Life...

Kerikeri Mission Station

My main Blip is of the Stone House (1832/6) and Mission House (1822) both being the oldest surviving stone and timber European buildings in New Zealand. I took the photo from the Rewa's Village a Maori reenactment village.

My extras show the Mission Station and St James church in the background and some images from the sub-tropical garden that surrounds our cabin.

As we approach our final days in New Zealand the weather has started to turn. It hasn't stopped us doing what we wanted to do but tomorrow looks like kite flying may be deemed a dangerous sport!
