The bench is out

Chris oiled the bench and put it outside in its 'warm season' position. We might be being a little optimistic here!

Work has finally started on rectifying the damage done to our ditch by the massive storm last November. Judging by the size of the gabions that are going in to shore up the collapsed bank we'll need a flood of Biblical proportions to shift those!  (That is not a challenge, by the way, should any rain gods be listening.)

Lots of much needed dusting and hoovering done today. This must be the dustiest house I've ever lived in - either that or our big windows let in too much light so that it's visible!
