Pagan the Pest

Today the Reindeer herd sent me a letter asking if I'd like to buy my adopted reindeer's antlers from the last year.  Now if you remember the linked blip, you may also remember that Pagan the reindeer is also a bit of an a***hole and the letter today only confirms this further!!  Previous Pagan stories from herders involve her rearing up on her hind legs and lashing out with her front ones to get people to give her more food, and teaching this behaviour to one of her calves.  Rest assured, no reindeer were hurt in the antler removal process and they drop them and re-grow them every year.  Selling antlers is a nice way of raising funds for the ongoing success of the center and gives adoptees a chance to have a permanenet reminder of their reindeer.

Head is feeling much better today so after cleaning the house we had a wee cycle round, stopped off in Strathaven for some more ice cream and generally just got out in the sun.  Also had a chat with neighbours who were out trying to stop the birds from dropping things down their drain pipe!
