Friends Meet Friends

B & M drove up in their truck and RV, and camped overnight at Dee's farm about 15 minutes away.  It worked out great.  Dee made them coffee and homemade lemon blueberry muffins for breakfast, before B & M left for Pennsylvania.  They had a great time meeting one another and swapping stories.  Dee's farm produces a lot of maple syrup and blueberries, among other things.  Part of the 66 acre farm will eventually go to each child, and a bit for Dee and her husband, with the rest going to the Western Reserve Land Conservancy.

Dee's farm participates in the Harvest Host program.  RV campers pay a $99 annual subscription fee to park for free overnight at over 4,000 farms, wineries, breweries, golf courses, museums and more throughout the US.  Plus, they get access to a variety of retail discounts.
