Rape, and Pillage

Although my title still refers to the risk of extinction of 10% of Britain's wildlife that I covered in yesterday's blip, I hope the colours of today's entry (surprisingly taken about 500m from yesterdays vantage point) will give at least some hope amongst you for the destiny our native British wildlife. As individuals we can all do something positive to encourage and support wildlife, and in this country we also have a network of passionate wildlife conservation groups, charities and trusts which are supported by millions of people.
I also happen to be of the opinion that Blipfoto plays an active role in this awareness by encouraging people to open their eyes to record what wonderful natural treasures we have still got, thereby educating others through the medium of their journals in how to value and protect our natural treasures.
