Who are you looking at?

We have quite a few Wood Pigeons who frequent our garden.
These two are a pair. They are foraging underneath the fatball feeder which hangs by the garage door.
Once our Liquid Amber maple tree has leaves, they build a nest there each year.
They probably have other nests too, as I can hear a pair in the conifer in next door’s garden, which is up against our boundary wire fence. An unmistakable sound like loud purring is emitted from there from time to time. I know from observation that occurs when one of them is sitting on a nest.
We went to church this morning as usual, but there will be no sitting in the garden this afternoon, as the sunshine hasn’t quite materialised and it is just a little bit chilly.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
