Owls

I've seen Barred Owls and Bald Eagles at this location in the past, so I went this morning hoping for some luck.  There was no action visible at the eagle nest, but I did spot a collection of photographers down the path a ways, and we know what that means.  Sure enough, someone had spotted a Great Horned Owl high (very high) up in a tree, semi-hidden behind the branches.  I have no idea how the first photographer this morning spotted this handsome male.  The female was nearby, but even more obscured by greenery.  Then, on the way to my car, the female Barred Owl had decided to come out into the open so I was able to get some shots of her as well.  I really appreciate the help of my friendly, fellow photographers.
