City day....

.....another awesome day in the city with blipper and friend JMK walking through parks and gardens enjoying some camera time.

We wandered around Abberley Park looking for autumn colour and came across trees with beautiful vibrant berries, a variety of holly, perhaps? I simply fell in love with this image, I thought it would make a good cover for a novel. There was a cold wind blowing rustling the leaves as branches of tiny red berries drifted in and out of the frame, it felt a little mysterious.

Moving along we had lunch in the city then spent some time at Victoria Square capturing autumn golds and reds in the gardens and rainbows in the fountain.

Our last stop for the day was Mona Vale. We followed the Avon River as it quietly ambled along, so clear we could see the bottom as golden leaves floated by, a lovely spot to share with a friend.

Autumn has arrived in the city, gorgeous shades of red mingling with gold turning to brown, sparse in places yet in full display in others. I thoroughly enjoyed today, was lovely to catch up with JMK and have some camera time, thanks so much J :)

Just a few in extra if your interested, depicts our day.

Happy Saturday everyone :)
