---or, nearly! In this south-facing coastline, this is one of the closest periods one can get to watching a real west-coast sunset!

My guestimate is that at sundown within a month of the vernal and autumnal equinoxes, you get to see these glowing reflections in the shallow waters of this sandy bay.
