A Meandering Life...

A Doorway into a New World

Last night we arrived in Incheon Airport, South Korea. We are staying in an airport hotel for 3 nights courtesy of our airline airmails programme. We have stayed here a few times over the years but normally just an overnight stop waiting for connections.

We ventured into Seoul via the hotel bus, the Express train from the airport then 2 metro trains until we reached an area called Bukchon Village a small neighbourhood with many traditional built buildings surrounded by modern city sprawl.

My main Blip was looking into one of the buildings, I believe it had dealings with books. It appeared they were making paper.

I have added a collage of some of the other buildings in the area, the blossom was at the airport. It has been strange leaving autumn (NZ) and seeing Spring all within in a day.

Again it has been a very long (hot) day, maybe we should rest up tomorrow before our 15 hour flight home on Friday.
