No enhancement needed

I’ve never seen colours in Azaleas and Rhododendrons like it. Vibrant. All coming together.

The challenge was to get a shot without too many people, all wrestling with their phones.

I love the Villa Carlotta and on this trip we have a gentle cruise past the other treasured gardens of the central area of Lake Como.

I confess that today, I skipped the visit to the interior of the house (fascinating though it is). I loved the gardens and the colours.

And I headed for the lovely hotel for a Negroni.

Rain, serious rain, much needed here, is forecast for this evening and for the rest of the week.

Never mind. It’s been glorious and they do need the water.
