Woodturners Workshop, Osborne House

Hidden deep inside the woodland of Osborne House can be found this shelter the original purpose of which is uncertain. It is thought that carriages would be driven through so that the passengers could disembark undercover.

It's present use is as a workshop for one of the woodland volunteers who has built a manually operated wood turning lathe and is used for demonstrations of old forest skills and craftsmanship.
