Great crested newt

Went to see a friend's pond where he is lucky enough to have a colony of great crested newts and I was lucky enough to spot one.  Some years ago I gave him some of my marsh marigolds and they look superb in his lovely large pond deep in the countryside just outside Louth. We did have a celebratory glass of wine!!
