Bluebells at Rannerdale

Last day of the Nature Workshop with JohnGravett and we headed over to Rannerdale - with a small detour to woodlands near Buttermere to avoid the rain!

Rannerdale is renown for Bluebells which live out in the open on the fellside - their "forest" is the bracken which grows ups over them. Today they provided a truely magnificant view, and with the rain gone the weather was ideal for photographing them with clouds scuttling across the sky giving interesting light - John reckoned they were the best he had seen.

... It has been a great week

Head over to John's to link to fellow blippers on the workshop
