Yet another day out.

And wonderful weather. What a grand week we are having.

Today we met friends at the Windermere Jetty Boat Museum. Devoted to displaying and conserving boats mainly used on Lake Windermere in the past 150 years.

The main shot is the steam launch “ Branksome “ built at Bowness on Windermere in 1896.

My extras are:

A painting by Cumbrian artist Derek Eland. He shows the Lake District landscape and the way humans have modified it with their fields, walls, crops and roads.
Reflections in the Museum dock as water from the Lake flows gently in and out.
