No idea what he found to sniff, but he is very intent on it.

Dogs have rather a lot more sensors in their nose than humans and a much brain allocated to smells than humans. I find it amazing that they can be trained to locate such humdrum things as bank notes! They also have better hearing than we do, though their vision is different - it's better in low light that ours but their colour vision is not very good by comparison.
