Great Crested Grebe - 57

We stopped at Leighton Moss on the way back from Keswick and had a lovely time wandering around. It was frustrating to hear the bittern but not actually see it. I've gone for a pair of red-eyed birds. A great crested grebe (bird 57),  unfortunately not doing anything spectacular like carrying a chick or in a courtship dance, and a pochard (bird 58)

Apologies for the lack of comments while I've been away but thanks for the likes and hearts. I will catch up over the weekend but as Im a few days behind I will probably only look at recent ones so I hope I don't miss anything exciting :)
