The Ice House tulips

Blaise estate is now owned by Bristol City Council and has been turned into a museum. In it's day when it was famiy owned it not only had a huge walled kitchen garden but a folly 'castle', formal garden with open air theatre , rose garden, 9 cottages for elderly retainers and vast woodland walks. There is also a triangle of green grass between two local roads which is now brightened by 3 large beds of tulips but this is where the ice house used to be.
