Finally!

I saw my first hummingbird today! Isn’t he cute? He looks well fed considering the long flight to get here • MrsP had a grand idea this morning. “Let’s visit Longfellow’s and see if the seedling potatoes are out” • Longfellow’s is our favorite gardening store, a place we frequent throughout the year earning rewards on whatever we spend • We picked up a flat of broccoli seedlings, two happy pansies, cute johnny jump ups and a couple of tiger and day lilies. I’ll harden them off over the next several days with hopes of planting them later next week • Yes, potato seedlings were purchased too: fingerlings and two varieties of white potatoes we like, Kennebec and Eva • It’s also Friday!
