Today's the day ...................... to hope

We've had many a kiwi vine in our garden over the years - but we've never, so far, been successful in producing an actual kiwifruit that you could eat.

We'll never stop trying though and we're always very pleased when we see a lovely green shoot like the one above - because that means the vine has made it through the winter.  It's still alive and you never know, this might be the year when we harvest some kiwifruit.

Hope springs eternal, as they say .........................
