Bird and Blossom

The weather is cool and overcast today, but the rain largely stays away. We visit the Welsh Wildlife Centre choosing to walk the Gorge Trail along the river which J has canoed earlier, it’s a fascinating and very up and down path, the gorges being formed by extensive slate mining which ended in 1938. Then we return via the Woodland Trail catching sight of deer across the fields. The centre itself is an impressive building, there’s a lovely patch of cowslips here (extra). We take a quick glimpse of the castle in Cilgerran and it’s in Cilgerran the blip is taken.
Our last evening is rewarded with a rainbow over the water as we’re eating our fish and chips. Pembrokeshire has been good to us again
