My favourite piece of wood

Our house in Spain is small and simple. This is one of the bedrooms. I love this piece of wood which has been built into the wall. There is something about the shape that makes me feel secure.

We had a quiet day as we were still pretty tired. This evening we went for dinner at what used to be a favourite place to eat. We find it has changed its menu a lot...and not to our liking! So it remains a friendly place to have a drink but we will look.for some other places to eat.
