Regal heron

Linlithgow Palace is closed for substantial restoration work, but the walk around the loch and the peel is still open. A bit blowy at times but nice to see it in the sunshine. A good walk then a nice coffee - what else do you need?

This chap was totally ignoring everyone as he sat hidden in the shallows.
