Undershot

This was the watermill at Eprave, spotted on our rather damp walk from Han-sur-Lesse today. Apparently there's 1654 engraved on one of its beams, but there's been a mill on the site since the 1400's. This one used to work with an adjacent brewery up until the beginning of WW2.

Our walk took us past where the River Lesse emerges from an underground passageway in the limestone (extra) & also past the cave system (now sealed off) at Eprave - plus many damp-woodland plants.
